Day 1: Arrival JRO - Arusha
Arusha is an important part of your northern Tanzanian safari, not just because of its position as a gateway to the country’s northern safari parks. With its dynamic street life and markets, fascinating museums, and enticing street food, it’s an exciting city that deserves exploring.

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire
Explore one of Tanzania’s most rewarding national parks, a land of big baobab trees, big elephants and big cats. No wonder this ends up being the favorite park in Tanzania for
many visitors. Sightings of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys and zebras are also almost guaranteed. Lions are plentiful here – Tarangire is
home to one of Tanzania’s healthiest lion populations. While you’ll have to work a little harder to see a cheetah or leopard, it will only enhance your excitement when you do. You can also look forward to classic safari scenery – savannah plains, river woodlands and rocky hills.

Day 4: Central Serengeti - Northern Serengeti
In the Northern Serengeti, you’ll see wildlife in a beautiful setting and with not many other people around. There are animals here all throughout the year, but they’re everywhere
when the migration is passing through. The scenery in this part of the park is also superb with plenty of Serengeti savannah grasslands between the rocky hills and Mara River.

Early Morning Game Drive, Northern Serengeti National Park
Put on some warm clothes and enjoy an early morning game drive. This is the perfect time to experience the wildlife and the landscapes they inhabit. The light is soft and warm – perfect for photography – and most animals are out and about, and active. If you’re not an early riser, you’ll want to make an exception here.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti - Central Serengeti
You won’t find many better national parks in Africa than the Serengeti, which has few rivals when it comes to both the numbers and variety of animals. Track down the annual
migration of wildebeest and zebra. Enjoy the vast horizons that are perfect for spotting predators (especially lions, leopards, cheetahs, and spotted hyenas) and their prey
(buffaloes, impalas, and kongoni), as well as elephants and giraffes. If you’re really lucky, you’ll see a hunt, one of the most exhilarating sights anywhere in the wild. And at every
turn, revel in its beauty, with flat-topped acacia trees silhouetted against the setting sun, and so many other classic African safari images.

Morning:
- Keep an eye out for wildlife early this morning as our transfer to the next part of your safari doubles as a game drive.
- A guided game drive through Serengeti National Park is one of the best safari experiences you can have anywhere in Africa. Apart from the signature savannah grasslands and the park’s amazing wildlife, your guide will show you all that’s good about the Serengeti.

Day 7: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
Your day in and around Ngorongoro Crater could just be one of the most memorable of your whole safari. You’ll explore the crater rim and then drive down onto the crater floor,
where the critically endangered black rhinos are the stars of an astonishing wildlife show. You’ll almost certainly see large-tusked elephants, at least one of the Ngorongoro’s four lion prides, and wandering clans of spotted hyenas. It also just happens to be one of Africa’s most beautiful corners, a hidden world where you’ll be surrounded by steep, deep
green crater walls, a salt lake, forests and hippo-filled waterways.

Morning:
- Our transfer early this morning to the next part of your safari is also a game drive which means looking for animals as we go. Transfer by Road, Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
- Your guided game drive down into and around Ngorongoro Crater, is one of the best safari experiences you can have in East Africa. Watch for lions, hyenas,
black rhinos and more as you spend most of the day exploring the crater floor.
